Junior Fitness

Junior fitness sessions offer juniors aged 11 to 15 years the opportunity to use the gym to improve fitness under the supervision of the fitness team.  As juniors are still growing and developing there are a number of important factors to consider in order for them to safely use the gym and therefore juniors are not able to use the gym outside of these supervised sessions until they turn 16.

 

Inductions

To attend junior fitness sessions all juniors must book an induction in advance (they cannot just turn up without booking).  Prior to your induction you will need to complete a health screening questionnaire which must be signed by a parent or guardian (please note, we can email forms directly to parents/guardians).  You will then be shown how to use the equipment (there are restrictions on what machines juniors can use to protect their development)

 

Junior Programs

After completing their induction juniors are issued with program cards so that they have a structured workout to follow including how to warm-up and cool-down safely.  Program cards can be updated every so often so that they remain challenging and enjoyable.

 

Booking a Session

All juniors must book to attend junior fitness sessions as places are limited.  To book a place over the phone please contact reception on 01725 513668.

 

Junior Fitness Session Times

Juniors can book in for either session on any day but must leave at the end of the session they have booked in for. This is to ensure that the sessions are manageable and each junior can be properly supervised.

£3.00 per session

£10.00 for 5 sessions (retain ticket to show at reception)
